I  received Ph.D in Chemistry from Indian Institute of Technology Madras (India) in 2004 and M.Sc in Applied Chemistry from  Anna University (India) 1999.  Before moving to Waseda University, I worked as a Guest Scientist in the Institute of Inorganic  Chemistry at RWTH Aachen University in the lab of Prof. Ulrich Simon, Aachen, Germany for six months. Previously I also worked as Postdoctoral research fellow at Bar-Ilan University with Prof. Aharon Gedanken for two years. My research interests are in the field of synthesis of nanostructures, carbon nanotubes and Energy storage and conversion.  We have developed simple and facile synthesis route for tungsten/molybdenum carbide nanostructures.
